This page provides information about my practice, background, and therapeutic approach. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and approved Clinical Supervisor in Washington State, with 15 years of experience in behavioral-mental health. I hold a BA in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, along with post-graduate training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I began my career working in fast-paced, short-term, crisis intervention settings, transitioning to outpatient care after graduate school. The intentional, paced, and, reflective qualities offered in individual outpatient settings inspired me to open this practice in 2022, providing specialized and focused care for adults navigating challenges with communication/relationships, self-esteem, and trauma. In treatment, I use a compassionately direct, engaging, and collaborative approach to build trust and create an environment of safety. This foundation allows us to openly identify the issues that are keeping you stuck and develop the skills necessary for meaningful change. Sessions include a combination of talk therapy, skill-building interventions, and between-session practice.
